Experimental Printmaking / Azul

This set of four pieces, created through experimental printmaking, was part of an exploration and investigation into color, saturation, and texture. The artist initially produced a series of images; from them, she developed different forms, which she then translated into physical pieces. She worked with a range of materials, including bus flooring, X-rays, sponge, and polystyrene.

After hours of testing, mixing at different scales, and experimenting with colors and shapes, these creations emerged. Within these works, the blue evokes a sense of sound, fragmentation, movement, and something alive that seeks to express itself.
